Re: SWWEX ROUTER AND TELEWEST BROADBAND, PLEASE HELP!!!
Did you power down the modem before connecting?
If not, power everything off & turn on in the following order: Modem, router, PC. Allow the modem to stabilise before turning on the router, likewise with the router before turning on the PC... |

Re: Sweex router and Telewest Broadband - please help!
have you done the setup wizard?
if not - do it. select manual configuration and then dynamic isp then goto the first options menu (basic) goto wireless - then WDS settings then enable wireless bridging. then save that and reboot the router. then goto primary setup (again in basic), and goto the MAC address option. clone your computers address onto the router by clicking the available tab. then save and reboot. then go back to the main page (status) and click on the renew tab. then a release IP address tab should come up, click that, and hopefully thats you done! ed |
