ntl usb cable & Mandriva 2005
hi all.
I was just wondering if someone, could at all help me with a problem. I have just acquired mandriva 2005, and have installed it onto a slave hard drive (master has xp pro). As i want to connect to the internet 'as is'I dont want to have to fiddle around with any cables every time I fancy a bit of linux. So my question is: Does anyone know how i can connect to the internet on mandriva 2005, using a usb connection???? Thanks Craig |

Unless you can find the linux drivers for the USB connection, you are going to be stumped. Does your PC have an ethernet port? If so I would suggest swapping to ethernet both for your linux but also windows services. Thus you change the cables over one only and leave them running on ethernet which is generally regarded as a better form of connection. |
