Belkin F5D5231-4 disconecting every 7 mins or so

hi techs.. please help

I have a 4 meg ntl line
I have a Belkin F5D5231-4 4 port router (wired)
one ntl cable modem
2 upto date pcs

If i connect each computer one at a time to the net though the ntl modem only!
i have no problems.

when i connect both computors using the belkin router thats when it all goes wrong ! (i have also tried conecting one pc at a time though the router also)

Both pc's get disconected from the net every 5 mins or so Just for a few secs at a time.

I would not notice the disconect if i'm browsing the net, but because i am using team speak and playing BF2 online i do...

again it is only for a sec or two...i just reconnect to team speak and every thing is omk for the next 7 mins or so when it hapends again.

its driving me mad lol Plz help

Re: Belkin F5D5231-4 disconecting every 7 mins or so

hmm i had a problem when i was using my pc to connect to the internet wirelessly, whenever i connected i was thrown back off again after about 15mins, i have a belkin wireless card and a Linksys router. i found that my problem was resolved when i turned off the "Wireless Zero Config". To do this go to Start> Right Click "My Computer> Manage> Select Services And Applications> Services> Scroll Down To "Wireless Zero Configuration" and Right Click it and Choose "Disable". Hope this helps if not follow the above steps to turn it back on.
