Research project - looking to interview people with NTL or Telewest
Hi,
I'm a researcher based at the Human-Centred Systems Group at the Computer Science department at UCL. I am carrying out research into how people use modern technologies in the home (e.g. television, computer and telephone). As the first stage of that research, we'd like to interview some people who use NTL or Telewest services. The interviews would be informal and would last around 60 to 90 minutes. I'd be able to travel to your home or near your home to carry out the interview (e.g. a local cafe). We'd pay £15 for your time. Ideally, we're looking to interview adults who have television, telephone and internet, and who live in either a houseshare (e.g. with other professionals) or in a family with teenage children. If you think you might be able to participate, please contact me at w.seager@cs.ucl.ac.uk. Re: Research project - looking to interview people with NTL or Telewest
I've just had my interview with Will, and can confirm that this is a legitimate research project taking place at UCL. The interview itself was great - imagine having an intelligent discussion about your current (and ideas for future) use of communication technology, and get paid for it! On top of that, Will is a nice guy.
