Xbox Live Problem

Hi,

Me and my friend both have the 4mb BB NTL package and live around 10 miles away from each other. Both of us are the only ones using are internet connections yet when either one of hosts a ranked game on Tom Clancy's Advanced Warfighter the other one can not see there games in the list. I know the Xbox 360 has a 50ms ping limit but surely this should not be a problem as neither of us are using are internet connections apart from MSN and Xbox Live of course while we're trying to connect. I have the Belkin Pre-N Wireless Router with my 360 connecting to it via a Linksys WGA11B which connects properly and with both Media Connect and Xbox Live. My friend has the Linksys WRT54GS router with his 360 hardwired into it. On my router I have input my 360's IP into the dmz setting not because it wont work without inputting this setting but it was just an idea to try to get my friend into my game. Does anyone know what could be causing this or could it simply be NTL playing up?

Dan

Sorted the problem for some reason my 120 modem had to be rebooted and this solved the problem straight away.

You must always reboot the modem in between changing devices attached to it
