http://opendns.org might be usefull for when NTLS dns is playing up...

although i set it as my DNS on my mac and when i goto the welcome page it still says i'm not using their service? but maybe thats becuase port 80 goes though the proxies? :erm:

either that or the mac is ingoring the setting and using the DNS server set in the router (which i can't access)

so if http proxy servers use NTL dns for web browsing, what is the point of changing DNS ?

apart from using stuff like p2p programs as such which use diffarent ports to resolve addresses ?

For web browsing, there is no point. Something that we have tried to point out on more than one occasion.
