can a TV email account address be ported over?
 

I'm helping a friend of the family get on broadband etc. At the moment she sends and recieves emails through her TV with the NTL keyboard thing. My question is this: will she be able to use that email address over the net? Another question is: why is her address @ntlworld.co.uk instead of @ntlworld.com? Will that make any difference? Also will I have to call up support to get this done or will it happen automatically?

Sorry but you can only receive the tv email through the tv email system.... Which address is showing as ntlworld.co.uk btw ???

The TV email address ends in ntlworld.co.uk. Can this address be ported over to a broadband account?
