making fulscreen popup

right i know how to make a button using html that when clicked opens a window. i know how to stop it from having adress bar/ being resisable and choosing the window size but how do you make a link or button that launches a window and makes it full screen automaticly?

Can be done very easily using javascript rather than sticking to bog-standard html...

Check here... http://www.devguru.com/Technologies/.../win_open.html

If you've not played with javascript yet, read through the tutorial here... http://www.w3schools.com/js/default.asp

You don't.

I can't think of anything that would be more annoying when browsing.

I think there's probably a good reason for it Tristan and interfaced by the user they have asked for the window to open.

The use of target="_blank" is deprecated - and with good reason. Google on it and "hostile" and you'll see that many people find this offensive. Research has shown that people can navigate more easily on websites that DONT do this - but I can't find the relevant pages at the moment.

Edit:
Here's one, but not the best:
