Revisiting the 10 Mbit Modem issue
Greetings All
Have not read much about the 10Mbit speed increase for a few weeks now and have lost touch. Have done a little search but nothing specific came up. The simple question is.... I got upgraded to 10Mbits may months ago now. The best I have ever seen is about 5.5 Mbits - the average is about 4. I have a NTL 100 cable modem. I recall at the time that this was supposed to be the reason - could not cope with 10Mbits. I also recall that you could not claim the device was faulty because the service was 'up to 10MBits'. Just wondered what the latest story was? Can I get a replacement? Will they be replaced eventually? Do I really need to worry?! cheers Mark |
