Shared calendars on Outlook without exchange

Hello.

I am trying to devise a simple system that will allow 5 people on a Windows XP ad-hoc network to use a shared calendar.

All it needs to do is show the appointment details per day, so in effect each date only needs text to be added to it.

The system uses Outlook but not Exchange.

Any ideas, preferably freeware/easy!

Thanks.

What mailserver do you use? We use mdaemon in work and you can get an outlook connector with this that offers the above functionality.

I think you can setup shared folders somehow. No idea how it's done though, search Outlook's own help, M$ sites or a :google:

In fact try this :http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/as...551021033.aspx Looks like it's called Net Folders

Yahoo! Calendar is a free solution.
  • Access dates and meetings from anywhere, anytime.
  • Share your calendar with specific friends and co-workers.
  • Remember important dates, set up automatic reminders.
