Help retreving E-mail User+Pass
 

Please can someone tell me how to retreve my son e-mail Username & password from NTL(he needs it for his Steam ID), I and my son have looked on there web site but can't find any info on retreving both items at the same time. I have been with NTL from its first instalation back in the 80's... never had a problem in all this time... thanks lads.... any help most appreciated:dunce:

Assuming you are the main NTL account holder, go to http://www.ntlworld.com/helpsupport/...ail_manage.php
and click on 'Add extra mailboxes'
Put your email and password in the next screen and press continue.
This will bring up a list of mailboxes associated with your account - and should tell you your sons address.

Then you should be able to retrieve the password.

(Probably need to be on an NTL IP, not at work)

Thanks Araqorn, went to the site but there's no one else there but me, he sign up using his own account, so still not able to trace his Username & password.. there must be a way to find this information.... anyway thanks for your help, best wishes

Can your Son access his emails ok using an email client like Outlook Express? If he can then the username/password is located in the properties for the email account. All you will need is a program like 'Snadboys Revelation' which can show passwords that are shown as just asterixes.

Exorcist74, if your son has Outlook Express setup for email retrieval then his password is in the properties of the mailbox.

you could always call ntl... they will be able to tell you what it is....

Hi Chris... computer has been reformated... so nothing in the new OE...
came across a page on the NTL web site for retreving lost password, this is what it said:

Enter your e-mail address and we will e-mail you your user id and password. ?

Can some one tell me how to retreve my son password using this meathod?... they have just sent me/my son his password to his account, but he cant read it because he don't have the password.... Im I missing something :(

I think you are now in the realms of having to call NTL.
