Student Contract - Does it automatically end?

Hi, I originally signed up for a student 9 month contract back in early october, will ntl automatically stop billing me? And what do i do with the modem? Thanks.

It does not automatically end. You will need to call ntl and request disconnection.

Keep the modem and make sure you tell NTL they must collect it, if they don't then just put it away and let it gather dust for a while.
As above as far as I know you have to give notice and cancel it or it will continue to run. Make sure you have your student details so that they know you can cancel within the 12 month period though. Will speed things up in case they feign ignorance of you being on a student contract.

Phone customer services, they'll put your through to someone else. Make sure you get their name, so you can prove later who you spoke to.
