4Mb Download speed
 

Having just had my free 4Mb upgrade (from 2Mb) I'm querying the download speed? Should it actually be the same?

I'm getting on average 230Kb/s on the NTL cable newsgroups, UseNext groups, BitTorrent etc - and this is EXACTLY THE SAME as if I were still on the 2Mb connection

The Robin Walker speedtests do indicate I'm on a 4Mb connection, and yes browsing seems to be quicker, but surely (?) download speeds would (should?) increase too

Thoughts on a postcard...???
