Slowness in Scunthorpe
 

Overall BB speed on the 10MB service is abysmal. Newsgroups max out at around 250k, Azureus is the same although it did spike to around 500k for about a minute. Browsing when either is downloading, even at max speed is still very fast, now it's very slow.

Speed test:

1st 512K took 3078 ms = 166.3 KB/sec, approx 1370 Kbps, 1.34 Mbps
2nd 512K took 1359 ms = 376.7 KB/sec, approx 3104 Kbps, 3.03 Mbps
3rd 512K took 1531 ms = 334.4 KB/sec, approx 2755 Kbps, 2.69 Mbps
4th 512K took 2266 ms = 225.9 KB/sec, approx 1861 Kbps, 1.82
Overall Average Speed = approx 2273 Kbps, 2.22 Mbps

And yes I am on the 10MB service:

Maximum downstream data rate: 10240000
Maximum upstream data rate: 512000

Edit - NM, seems to have righted itself.
