My parents have ntl tv and when they got home this afternoon the tv was frooze so they turned it off and turned it back on.

They have 2 boxes in the house and neither is working, they also have broadband but that is not working either.

Now they just have a white screen with ntlhome on it.

I have broadband and only live 5 mins walk away from them, is there any know problems this evening?

Sounds like signal not getting to the boxes. Is the small green/grey box on the side of the house undamaged? Best thing to do is to phone NTL and see if there are any localised faults.

Have they had any work done in the garden (digging, hedge cutting etc) if so the cable could have been damaged.

sounds to me a disconnected cable at the cab.

Sounds like an area fault or cab issue. Contact Faults :)
