ntl tech comin 2morrow, cant' connect to net since yday
 

i have tried everything, unplugging cables, restarting modem, uninstalling ethernet card etc, still no luck....so i rang ntl and the lady never advised me to do ne thing but said an engineer wud be sent out on tues....

i have an ntl home 120 modem, could it be this is an old modem and with the new speeds its not workin?

no...

if they didn't get you to do anything it is likely that the power level is through the floor/ roof or something equally obvious- no amount of pc diagnostics would make any difference so an engineer is your only solution.
