Ordered NTL Digital & NTL Phone!
 

Heya :)

Guess what? I've convinced the Mrs to get NTL as many of our well know friends has got it and said great value for money :tu:

So, We sat home and rang them up and ordered. They're coming out tomorrow between 12 and 4 to install everything.

I've ordered 2 packages : Base pack and I think it's something called Family pack I think. Not too sure :p:

Anyways, Can I ask? What's with the Samsung boxs and Pace boxs? I mean, What's the difference? :erm:

I'll post tomorrow to see whether NTL live up to their expections! :tu:

They're coming out tomorrow? Thats amazing service. I hope you have a good time with the installers questions of where everything wants to be going :)

Isn't it the England match tomorrow? That's mainly why i was surprised someone would be calling.

Anyway, the PACE and SAMSUNG Stb's are different makes of virtually the same thing, the samsungs are held in higher regard as they suffer less lock-ups and can support faster menus and faster BB going through them if need be.

Yes, There coming out tomorrow. I was abit shocked myself too. Because, He says When do you want us to come out? I was like, Anytime this week. And he goes How about tomorrow? :Yikes: I was like! Cool!

I also said What box would I get? He said most likely the new Samung box :)

Only kidding, I've not long had digital TV installed, I think you have to wait a few hours for the channels to come through (not CH1-5 though), took about 3 hours for me, but it was hassle free and the guy was spot on, and he was bang on time too. Credit where it's due, I can't fault these people myself. (unlike CS that is).

And I've got the samsung box and the family package too, compared to analogue it's a lot better (with an LCD TV it's a must to go digital). Not had hardly any probs apart from the odd lock up but that's soon sorted.

One thing that I was suprised about with the samsung box was that you also get the analogue signals too.

Yes, I got installed. He ment to come at 12 and he rang and said, Do you want me to come now? At 11! So, Happy days he came. Installed everything quick, got that Samsung box! Excellent service. :tu:

I recommend NTL to anyone :tu:

Fill in the TELL US WHAT YOU THINK link on the ntl web site. www.ntlworld.co.uk ad give them some praise. I think it will make a change instead of them always being slagged off. It might make someone's day :)
