Spyware Issues
 

Hi,

I have got spyware on my Computer!!

Got adaware SE. but it seems unable to remove such files such as virtumonde etc.

Does anybody on the forums know a good FREE spyware programme which can remove such files??

There is a removal tool for Virtumonde.
You could see if this one by Symantec is any good here
Or get yourself something like HijackThis which can list what is loading up in the registry and see what is running that could be taken out.

Intalll the programs below and then what i would suggest is for you to boot into safe mode... if u have xp keep pressing f8 and go into safe mode... then run spybot and windows defender

If you do not have a "valid" copy of xp there are versions around that dont contain the cd check but i cant help you with that as its against the rules :P...
