TV advertising
Just wondering why NTL:Telewest don't advertise their services on TV.
Does anyone know why not ? |
Re: TV advertising
Maybe you just watch the wrong channels ?? I've seen ads for both on TV, and recently too. They push the 3 for £30 offer a lot

Re: TV advertising
I recall seeing/hearing more Telwest ads ... in an NTL area - wonder how long before they are merged in any more than an adminstative sense.

Re: TV advertising
I remember seeing somne NTL adverts years ago with a guy that was walking along a beach or something like that.
Havent seen any recently though. |
Re: TV advertising
The prefer radio/billboard/print because they can be more easily targetted towards their franchise areas. No point spending money advertising to customers who can't get your service.

Would they.....? |
Re: TV advertising
On a similar note, why do they have that infommercial channel on Sky, 3 for £30... in amongst the Johnny Foreigner channels and the adult channels? Although the production costs of the shows don't appear to be very high, I wonder how much they have to pay Sky to beam it... surely it's not an efficient revenue generator?

They also advertise quite frequently on the Sit-up channels (bid tv, price-drop tv and speed auction tv). The Sit-up channels are owned by Telewest and came to NTL with the merger. |
