broadband keeps cutting off
 

hey, i seem to be having some problems with my ntl broadband, in the north london area, my internet spikes from being normal to being dead slow almost every 5-10 minutes, currently on 2mb. i had an ntl engineer out last week, but everything was fine then, but the problem keeps coming back. I have rebooted the modem etc countless times. Just wondering if anyone else had any similar probs or know something i dont,

I'm in the North London area also (Edgware), having the same issues as you, it started in October 2005, i was on the 1MB servive, constant cut outs, couple of months ago i upgraded to 2MB, still the same issues, i'm now on the 10MB service, and the problem has just got worse.

What modem do you use?

i think its a NTL Home 200 modem, the small one
