Broadband Connection Issue
 

hi everyone i have just recently formatted my computer to re install xp. everything works fine untill i install service pack 2 on to my system. it seems to disbale my internet connection for some unknkown reason. i have seen if the firewall allows the connection, however when i see it it says my connection is corrupt and i have to reset it back to the defaults option. this does not help this matter. i have tried many things like turning my set top box on/off but that fails. any help would be most appreciated thanks.
