Advice Please
I am trying to help one of our remote workers to setup a Belkin Wireless Router F5D7230-4.
He is using a STB to connect currently. Having read the NTL website, I found the following things. * You do not have to clone your MAC address with the ntl Broadband system. * ntl has Dynamic IP addresses (assigned by DHCP). You do not have to specify an IP as directed by some manufacturers. * The ntl DNS servers do not have to be specified within the router as directed by some manufacturers I was hoping that someone with the same setup could give me some information on how they had it configured. From my understanding the STB should assign an IP address to the router. |

Each device connecting to an STB has to be registered before it will be given an IP address. Connect a PC to the router and browse to start.ntl which should take you to the registration page. Also don't forget, the STB needs to be powercycled anytime you change devices - ie after plugging in the router. HTH |
