why cant I change my broadband speed after 8pm?
 

I work late, and just got in, and want to upgrade my broadband speed.. except CS is shut, faultline is shut.. and the broadband support redirects me to a dead line, because CS is shut..

And the online upgrade system just tells me to phone CS..

most annoying.

Are we ever going to get a 24 hour CS like we used to in the olden days? Or at least open till midnight. 8 to 8 is just rubbish, especially for a fault line.

Do you have a SACM (stand alone cable modem), or do you get BB via your STB (set top box) ?

I'm afraid your only option is to wait until CS re-opens as (you now know) STB BB cannot be upgraded online.

well I eventually got through to broadband tech support (open till midnight) and they did it. So I was able to download loads of game demos in time for the weekend.. wehay :)
