D Link Wireless router and NTL Broadband via STB

I have a STB which gives me my broadband and satellite.

I assume if I buy just a normal wireless router this would be good to set up a wireless network. Is this right.?

I am thinking about getting the D-LINK DI-524 54MBPS WIRELESS ROUTER from PC World. I could order it online but I am impatient. Does this sound OK?

I have checked on the router recommendation thread and it mentions the DLink 624 but i just want to double check that I only need a wireless router if I have a Set Top Box

Thanks

Based on the Specs that router should work OK with the STB.

Not having used it I can't make any comment on whether it's any good or not, however I did have an incompatibility with a wired only d-link router and a ntl Pace STB so I really dunno  I do get on very well with my Linksys WRT54GS :tu:
