not upgraded?
 

hey fellas,

upgraded to 10mb from 2mb earlier, bird on the phone told me to reboot the modem in 10 mins, i've rebooted about 10 times since and still seem to be on 2mb service ...

Tried to call back but been on hold for 20 mins now, wondering if any of the "ntl boys" on here could take a look at my account and have a play (tweak)

Sometimes it can take a while for an upgrade to hit, 10 minutes isn't always long enough. You may need to wait for a while longer and then power the modem off, wait and then power it back up.

I upgraded to 10MB yesterday, i left the computer and modem off for about 2 hours while i did other things, came back and was on to 10MB service.

been 10 hours now and still on 2mb ... why do i have a gut feeling something is wrong? Anyway, going to leave modem off all night and check in the morning
