Does anyone know if the Ricky Gervais simpsons episode was shown with macrovision.

I taped it, to watch it later and when i checked to see if it had taped it the picture started stuttering.
This only happened when the opening credits started.

Classic, but they neglected to mention that the average age of the Simpsons episodes they show is greater than four years..

it was a funny apology. Was it me or did a lot of the show seem very un-gervais? The first half of the show felt a lot more like the current crop of simpsons staff (no depth, crap jokes, sterotypes)

Well my family watched about 5 minutes of this episode before deciding to watch the South Park Movie instead. :D

Watched it weeks ago, not that funny really. The Richard Dean Anderson episode is a bit better.

Not sure, they are showing the one where Grandpa becomes a Matador next week, the RDA episode is the next new one after that, but I can't find a uk transmission date for it atm.

Weeks of massive hype, and then.... crap.

Really wasn't very funny at all.

Gervais character was pretty awful.

Yeah I thought it was quite unremarkable, and the guy looked nothing like Gervais, didn't sound like him for a lot of it....
