Netgear WGT624 - HELP

Hi,
I have used wireless network connection obtained from Telewest for several years now and it has been pretty reliable.
I recently bought the WGT624 router because I now have a laptop as well as a desktop.
I finally got the new router working but then stupidly decided to log onto it and set up some security but I appear to have just messed things up
I am getting intermittant access to the internet on both pc's but now don't appear to be getting my mail properly.
Also I don't think I have any security set up on the router.
Can someone advise where I can get the best help (particularly geared at idiots) I am at the end of my tether and am worried about the security aspect.

Regards
Christine
