How long?

How long does it take for a speed increase to take effect??

I upgraded yesterday but the speeds are still reading 1mbit.

Usually straight away - have you rebooted your modem?

Yeah, tried after I got off the phone and just done it again now.

It was late on Friday - about 4.45, maybe she left a note for someone to do it on Monday?

Try the upgrade online, you can see your options before you say yes to owt... at least you will know then. :rolleyes:
