Peter Kay MP3

I am trying to find some small MP3 files of Peter Kay, like the Garlic Bread etc. there so i can add them to my Mobile. I presume mobiles cant handle Wav's?

If anyone can help me on this i would be gratefull. :Yikes:

Re: Peter Kay MP3

Do you have them in Wav format?

If so you could burn them to disc and rip them back as MP3's, which could then be put on your phone. Of course, to reduce waste you could use CD-RW's :)

Have a look at Lame, the command line MP3 encoder. This is free, and, while the command line isn't as easy to use as a full Graphical User Interface, they have links to freeware programs that can act as GUIs to Lame (include my favourite, dbPowerAmp).

Looks like they have removed the download links.Have a look at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows (v. good open source sound editor), and follow the instructions for installng the Lame plugin in that.
Alternatively, just install http://www.rarewares.org/mp3.html, which is a drag and drop interface for Lame, and includes Lame.

Ah, thankyou very much :)

I may even mess about and create my own GUI in C#. If i get the spare time that is.

Actually, do you know where Audacity is/was developed? It seems to have links to York College.
