Can you access it on 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1? If yes, then upgrade the firmware to

netgear MR814v2tw help!!!

hi there guys,
im having problems installing this router on a laptop via wireless, ive got the NTL : 250 cable modem going into the router via ethernet but coming out wireless into the laptop on a usb adapter. when i first installed it, it worked fine, now something inside has gone wrong i think, cause when i go to command.exe and type ipconfig i dont get an ip for the internet. when i take it out the net works great so im guessing its a problem with this router, i couldnt get into the setup screen on it for some reason even though the firmware is the latest one out, do i need to register the mac address with ntl? or do you guy have any ideas that can stop the mother in law from moaning about this?

thanks in advance :)
