Anyone else having problems displaying the Ebay homepage (also seems to be affecting the page counters on auctions)??

Seems to be working fine here.
Try specifying a proxy as that could help.

It is either NTL (changing proxies didn't work for me) or the recent update Microsoft did this Tuesday that has done it.

I posted earlier on in the "update thread" about this problem, is it only the people who have updated their machines that have this problem ?

I have recently updated my machine (this afternoon) and I am not having problems with eBay.

If the update you are talking about is the normal Microsoft Update then I have just done this and am still not getting the Ebay homepage or page counters. I'm in the Reading area, anyone else having problems still?

The problem has nothing to do with OS updates. I'm using Linux and seeing issues with the front page of EBay. Firefox is reporting that it cannot find the server uk.ebayobjects.com. It appears the problem is DNS related.

So do I assume that my machine is not at fault here then?

Domain Name Server problem being a NTL issue then?

Ah I just got the same error. I would say its an NTL fault and not a machine fault.

The homepage appears to be working now, although annoyingly, I still can't get the page counter to work on the auction I'm hosting at the moment.
