Problems with 10mb BB in NP44 area very slow can any one check my connection
 
For the last few weeks i have had problem with ntl 10mb with alot of site's if any one here works at ntl can you please check my connection please

some of my problem are. E.G Ebay.co.uk is very slow and all the pic say can not be displayed, other sites i can not use at all

I did a speed tedt from this site and this is what it says

2nd 512K took 469 ms = 1091.7 KB/sec, approx 8996 Kbps, 8.79 Mbps
3rd 512K took 422 ms = 1213.3 KB/sec, approx 9998 Kbps, 9.76 Mbps
4th 512K took 422 ms = 1213.3 KB/sec, approx 9998 Kbps, 9.76 Mbps

Overall Average Speed = approx 9497 Kbps, 9.27 Mbps

Also how do i check for packet loss

Your speeds are fantastic, so it could lie with your pc? Not an expert when it comes to this. Are you using a modem if so what are your signal levels like?

Here is my signal levels, I am useing a blue ntl 250 modem connected via ethernet cable direct to the pc, I have checked my pc and its fine its seems as there is a problem with the connection

Also nothing wrong with those levels, you are looking for:
upstream lower than around 55dbmv
receive power lvl +/- 3dbmv of 0
So as said nothing going bad there.

qam256 also, all looks good.

to maybe fix ebay problems specify different proxy, to check for packetloss try ping -n 10 ntlworld.com
