I just read that D12 rapper "Proof" has been shot dead at a Detroit club.

Sadly, this doesn't seem to be a surprise in Hip Hop.

I can't say he'll be missed because I'd never heard of him (although I'd heard of D12) but it certainly is tragic.

He was the best rapper in the group along with Eminem.
Wonder if the group will change their name to D-10?

Spookily Proof was shot and died in Eminem's Toy Soldiers Video.

No, there are only 6 people in the group. They all have alter egos though. e.g Eminem - Slim Shady.

Ah right - clarie was upset about this yesterday becuse she met him (and the rest of the band) in Japan. She had her photo taken with him and she even threw his rubbish in the bin for him - she considered that a top honour!
