Congestion?
I am seeing some major loss/congestion at
gfd-bb-b-so-400-0.inet.ntl.com - 62.253.185.98 which is seemingly providing a mixture of swinging performance, and sometimes even dropping packets (I assume) A full trace route attached Tracing route to www.bbc.net.uk [212.58.224.116] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 7 ms 9 ms 7 ms 10.124.144.1 3 8 ms 8 ms 8 ms 80.1.170.209 4 6 ms 11 ms 7 ms 62.255.81.141 5 7 ms 8 ms 9 ms 213.105.174.238 6 17 ms 29 ms 8 ms 213.105.174.229 7 15 ms 10 ms 13 ms 213.105.172.13 8 76 ms 51 ms 50 ms 62.253.185.117 9 124 ms 95 ms 107 ms 62.253.185.98 10 85 ms 91 ms 91 ms 213.105.174.138 11 16 ms 16 ms 18 ms 212.58.238.189 12 21 ms 47 ms 24 ms 212.58.238.133 13 20 ms 11 ms 15 ms 212.58.224.116 This is new behaviour and whilst download throughput etc seems relatively unaffected it is making my normally appalling gaming insufferable. Is there any way of reporting this via email to NTL? Thanks in advance |
Re: Congestion?
I wouldnt bother e-mailing them, you'll never get a reply. Your best bet is to talk to CS in the morning.

Re: Congestion?
CS will feed him FUD, some people appear to have better responses from responsetek.
