Unformatted pages are not a DNS problem though. The fact that you get any kind of pages shows the eBay server has resolved. This sounds more like a connectivity problem than a DNS problem, perhaps a proxy issue or something.

Well this problem has occurred during the last two DNS outages, though it has sometimes happened at other times!

All is fine and well in TS6 area of Middlesbrough. No faults here AFAIK.

Lots of page timeouts and slow browsing in Glasgow and has been for past 24 hours.

Same here in Essex/E London, as per my comments on the other thread. Plus p2p and newsgroup access is nuked. What the hell is going on? If its bad at 5.15, what's it going to be like later?

Edit: Ok, I was connecting through my wireless router (which was showing no problems, by the way) and getting slow everything browsing, p2p etc. Disconnected that and stuck in my ethernet cable and everything is working fine. So not an ntl issue at all!!

Update to the edit above....still have my ethernet cable connected and got a few dns timeouts again last night....No way near as bad as has been for last few days, but it looks like it wasn't my router/wireless connection after all.

Proxies have been switched off here but DNS resolving is very slow, 3 seconds to resolve, surely not yet another attack ?

They really need to make a statement or fix this once and for all
