Outages in the Cardiff area?
 
is it just me or did everything go dead here for about an hour - tv - net - the lot - phones were ok though? :erm:

Could have been a power failure to the main cab your street is fed from, TV and BB would be affected but not phone as that's on battery backup. Same thing happened in my street years ago, council damaged the main power cable to the NTL cab while putting in new street lights, TV and BB dead until Western Power repaired the cable later that day, phone line wasnt affected though.
