If anyone from NTl could shed some light on this?
I hardly use my ntl phone I have BT as our main phone and I use my mobile so its more of a redundant line and im thinking of getting rid of it as the TV as the quality is getting worse anyway not a gripe at services I really donââ‚Âà ‚¬ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¾Ã‚¢t need as the BB is quite good and is about all I use. So anyway back to my point I got a phone call on NTl phone and it said Do you accept this call from NTL? But I didnââ‚ ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢t do anything it just went on to what seemed a recording repeating the word †œHiâÃÆ ’¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚ and I kid you not it just went †œHiâÃÆ ’¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚ Ã¢â‚¬ “ÃÂà ‚¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã…â €œHiââââ‚ ¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã‚ Ã¢â‚¬ “ÃÂà ‚¢ÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã…â €œHiââââ‚ ¬Å¡Ã‚¬Ã‚ÂÂ. I was thinking what the hell is thisââ‚ ¬Ã‚¦? Anyone else got this or know what it was. |

Do you have choose to refuse on the line? Sounds like a fault on the system somewhere for the message to do that.

Yeah it spewed something about – do you choose to accept a call from NTL. But I pressed nothing and before I knew it I was getting this “Hi” repeated down the line over and over till I got bored and thought what is this all about.
So it was a blip then? You don’t send line tests do you that need to be received I only ask as it may look like its faulty as I never call on it, it’s the main Bt phone or the Mobile I only had the NTL phone for the dial up years ago. Not to worry I was just interested if anyone knew as the lads on the BB are fantastic for letting us know about faults. Thanks for the response |
