Hey Guys... I Have Read Somthing On A Site, I Cant Remember Where Tho But I Did Sigh Up For Ntl Beta Testing. Was Tis Safe And What Does This Envolve With Ntl..

I suspect the OP may be concerned about the legitimacy of the signup site, and what he may have given away.

I have seen links to such sites in the past from various cable related forums. Many will be legitimate, but who really knows. If in doubt don't give out your details.

Most NTL Beta testing takes place over on www.chetnet.co.uk :)

...on that site, it says to email ntl with your details if you want to be a beta tester. I, like several others did this, and ntl never bothered replying. Why ntl bothered posting details on how to become a beta tester when they're clearly not interested is beyond me...

I checked with one of the trials moderators @ Chetnet and ntl: are still accepting people onto the beta team, it's just taking some time. So just be patient really. From what I can see you're not missing out on anything at the moment.

I was a tester for them for the TV service.
they were very helpfull and always intrested in our feedback.

Beta testers for what exactly? Software or Broadband or what?

Digital TV software is the main ongoing testing that takes place. However, there are internet related trials from time to time :)

Sometimes your not in the area that the trials are taking place.

However it would be nice if they emailed you at least to acknowledge that you where on the list.
