Hi there

I'm Rob and i'm a refugee from Pipex, I get connected next Wednesday and i'm looking forward to the extra speed :)

One question - what is the BY newsfeed like? I've heard various reports about it from mediocre to bad? I used to have a Giganews account...is it worth reactivating it?

I can't answer your question as I'm on ntl, but I'm sure some of the TW people will be able to. :)

Thanks Paul - most of my knowledge is ADSL and Satellite - hopefully i'll gain some extra insights into cable from here. Any newsfeed recommendations are welcome tho.

Your best bet is to reactivate the Giganews account imo

Thanks Zeph - never had any probs when I was with Giga, only reason I left was because they started to supply the Pipex feed...and Pipex as per usual messed that up :dunce:

Ive not used BY before but do their news feeds include the Binary Groups and the Files attributed?

Signed up with Newshosting on an unlimited account, quite impressed with the speeds i'm getting.

Had Telewest for 10 days or so and have to say its a lot better than Pipex....result..one happy fella :)
