Wireless Connection - Belkin?
Hi,
I am looking to set up a wireless network for a friend and was wondering how it can be done on and NTL Broadband Modem. I was thinking of buying a Belkin Wireless router - The ADSL version. But then it struck me that NTL is really cable broadband. So how can it be done? I woudl ideally like to buy a belkin product as they are most reliable in my experince. Would i be ok with a ADSL router and just use a convertor from the RJ45 coming out of the NTL Modem to an ADSL Phone line connection? Hope you can help, and thanks in advance :erm: |

Im with NTL and i got my belkin router from PC world (despite being unhelpfull they do have some good deals sometimes) I have had nothing but trouble so i would steer clear of this combination of router and ISP;)

Re: Wireless Connection - Belkin?
I have had my Belkin for a couple of years with no problems whatsoever. But I have matched the router with Belkin wireless cards.

Re: Wireless Connection - Belkin?
Having already set up several Belkin products for freidns with different IP's it is so easy to do but with NTL they do put a spanner in the works having cable instead of ASDL. But Belkin do lots of products so i will look into it.
Thanks for your help! :D |
