advice/opinions please
hi all, just after a bit of advice on buying/selling a few pc's.
i've got an opportunity to buy a few pc's at a reasonbly low price and am curious before i stump up the cash if i'll be able to sell em...and at what prices?? the specs are all pentium 4's, Compaq, HP, Packard bell branded, ranging from 2.8 ghz to 3.2ghz all with dvdrw drives, HDD's from 80Gb to 250Gb and memory between 246mb and 512mb. all are as new and come with xp home or pro preinstalled, keyboards and mice (2 with wireless), and either 15" or 17" TFT monitors. there's 20 in total (inc an apple powerpc G4 and an apple imac G5)...although my budget's gonna limit me to 5 or possibly 6 and prices ranging between £150 and £200 from lower to higher spec. before anyone asks the obvious question...yes its all above board :) any thoughts on what these spec pc's could be sold for??? |
Re: advice/opinions please
Ebay is always a good guide for this IMO, especially if this is where you aim to punt them on.

Re: advice/opinions please
I would say the prices are what you could sell them for

Re: advice/opinions please
thanks for the advice guys...appreciated
took a look through ebay ..as a guide. and looks like the price that i'd be getting them for is the average price anyways...so doubt that there's any profit to be made on buying a few and selling them on..and taking into account the traveling involved in picking em up wouldnt really make it worth my while :( |
