DVD battle heads for showdown

So how do we make up our minds? Will I be the one with the defunct system that failed to take off?Or shall I just wait until the flack dies and then choose?

Re: DVD battle heads for showdown

definitely wait and see, for me, not only the difference between the two standards, but also the DRM aspect could be important - TV's limited to only one kind of player is a possibility & potentially very expensive if that standard is the 'also ran'.
