connecting wireless router to ntl

Hi, can anyone help?
I have connected to ntl and was assured my wireless router would work with ntl.My router is a netgear dg834gt adsl. I can't seem to get connected with the ethernet cable provided. Is there an adapter for the cable that I can get or am I knackered with this router.
Appreciate any help
Guy

I'm afraid you have been given the wrong information. You can not use an adsl router with NTL

guy, :welcome: to the forum.

As others have said, you cannot use ADSL routers on a cable broadband connection. I suggest you take it back where you got it from and get them to give you a router that will.
