I didn't remember her name, but recognised her face straight away. Really funny lady. And 48 is certainly no age to die :(

Very humorous lady.

Was very good on R4 'Just a minute'...

yes - she was an excellent and really funny comedian. most of her stuff was radio based so she was not that well known on the screen - I was totaly shocked when I heard the news and shall miss her dry and funny comments on all things.

it was said that she was the funniest person to have a cup of tea with and she would not script out her jokes like other news quiz comedians - just ad lib them totally

Goodnight Linda

Saw 101 - seemed a smart lady. I agreed with her on opera singers singing pop music. Just trying to make opera popular but having the opposite affect. Annoys me no end.

News articles that are devoid of information - straight into 101

The way she cut Neil Kinnock down in the repeat of HIGNFY tonight was classic - asking him if he thought he'd have been better off keeping his mouth shut during the '92 election :D

A brave lass to appear in public (first time of showing), joke about consultants and their bow ties, bad test results, and appear in a not-too-good wig, with the viewers not knowing her condition.
Quite an inspiration to me.
