why aren't yahoo details remebered?

why aren't my yahoo details remebered? there is a checkbox saying "remember me on this computer", but it never actually does seem to remember me :( so every time I go to look at yahoo calender or emails I get asked to log on again

All the other sites I visit seem to remember me ok so why not yahoo?

Are you clearing your cookies before you go back to yahoo again ? Saved settings are cookie dependant.

no - am using firefox and have checked and there's nothing to say they are being cleared or removed

Yahoo has gone very security concious, i even get one of those image recognition things when i try to send mail :shrug:

not much the wiser from their help page unfortunately. pop client won't access the calender tho

you could try using one of the cookie related extensions for Firefox, such as

https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...mpg=10&id=1247

- worked for me when I had a similar problem. :)

No probs...........BTW are you running yahoo messenger ? If you are logged into yahoo messenger, I'm fairly sure you won't have to log in, as you are already logged onto messenger :)

yes - I am running it and it does keep asking me to log in when a calender alert appears on the taskbar

I've been with Yahoo since 99 and every pigging time I get asked to sign in despite ticking the box.I've just got used to it as an idiosyncrasy of Yahoo.

As for Yahoo security it's a joke.The number of times my friend has had his inbox and his Yahoo group hacked has put him right off Yahoo.:(
