Schwarzenegger not taking salary as governor
Arnold Schwarzenegger is working as governor of California for free of charge. Not bad.

I don't blame him. He doesn't need the money and seemed serous about the job. If he doe's get results and proves to the people that elected him he meant business then I guess he will start collecting a wage then though

I think it's a blatant piece of political manoevring to forestall an attack from opponents who would, no doubt, be the first to shout that this "multi-millionaire" actor was taking even more money from the state that is so debt riddden.

Given that what the job pays is a drop in the ocean for him then its hardly needed is it.
Good on him for doing this, besdies he's getting such great free publicity out of it. |

I think it is a nice gesture. It would also be nice if some of our politicians didn't seem to spend half their life trying to rip off the system,
