:welcome: to CF

A lot of wireless stability issues can be solved by switching wireless channels. Wireless routers can operate on one of 12 (iirc) distinct frequencies around 2.4Ghz. They have to share this range with various other gadgets, eg digital senders, dect phones, microwaves!
Your router will have the ability to change the wireless channel. Most by default (iirc) operate on 7, but setting to 1 or 12 may give you better connectivity. There is a better explanation of channels and overlaps somewhere on here, but that should get you started.
