Ditto - but then I get them quite regularly.

I've had a look at the phishing site, and it's all quite believable, until they get to the security questions, at which point someone ought to smell a rat, but I can see that many wouldn't.

My email client (Eudora) very kindly throws up a warning if the text/link don't match, which is a good safeguard.

Re: Scam

:D

You should ALWAYS reply to these Scam Mails !!!....

I always enter a "load of crap" details then hit RETURN rapidly
multiple times ... Not sure if that sends the form multiple times
but it's good to envisage some Jerk sitting there typing all my
info into the REAL Banking Site :) http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/im...lies/yikes.gif

Ways you can tell this (and similar emails) are fakes:

They would never ask you to login to your account in that way...

They would never do that without notification - phone call or letter...

Sincerely yours.
Sincerely yours? What!!??

Barclays Bank Security Department
Well I'm sure they have one, but it would just come from Barclays - not a specific department!!

Re: Scam

i get these from banks all over the world.. it's a shame people are still getting conned by these

in adage i use is unless i'm expecting a mail from something like this then it's probably not from them..

if in doubt don't follow the link and call the bank \ company itself
