Modem disconnecting but b4 i ring ntl....
 

Hi ppl,

Since Thursday the modem a ntlhm120_ntl0001.cpr has been reseting.

Just thought it was ntl doing working in area, so left it.

Until Saturday night were it went down for about 4 hours. Ofcourse I could not ring BB cos they were not there!

So my Q: Was there a problem in the Norwich NR3 4 area this weekend?
Or is my modem on the why out!

Service Status = at nlt just says about BB Plus and as am on 2m i can 4get about that for now.

Plus I cant find a modem log to check!

10-10 am

Modem starts to do this.....

All lights bar pwr go out.

DS(Flash)
(resets)
RDY(flash)
SYNC(Solid)
DS(flash)
RDY(Fast flash)
DS(solid)
SYNC(solid)
DS(blank)
RDY/Sync(solid)
Resets.

Did that until 10-50am.

Ideas ppl or a number i can ring ntl on a sunday?

Off @13-00 ON @ 13-00

Off @14-15(well I went out @13-20, was out when i got in) ON @ 15-12.

RDY light still goes off, well its flashing as i type.

Well i think i will ring Monday. Cos its on/off all day. If it is the modem its had a good run of 4+ years.

You can contact technical support on a sunday on 0845 650 0925 - open 8am- midnight, calls charged at lo-call rates. Between 8-8 monday to friday and 9-5 saturday you can use 0800 052 2000 (freephone) and chose the option for faults, then broadband support.

Boys in bed( online games ) so think i will w8 til Monday morning. Its back 4now so will ring and see what my logs say.

Would seem the SACM has reset itself over 70 times over last couple of days.

So man in van comming out.
