Just got my bill and was wondering...
Can I set it up to pay via internet banking?
I have searched the forum to no avail (probably my poor searching skills, must take a lesson!!!) and I cant believe that no one has asked this before! Tried calling CS but got a dead line tone on the payments selection!!!! :erm: I just want to pay them but do not have a credit / debit card and pay most of my bills with internet banking, surely an internet company has this facility? Cheers, Andy |
Re: Just got my bill and was wondering...
yes, you can with HSBC anyway. they already have ntl's bank details (you just select the company from a list), and then put your customer reference number as the payment reference.

I am with Nationwide if that helps....
Would you mind sharing the details from HSBC as NW do not list them as i have just checked? |
Re: Just got my bill and was wondering...
sorry, but you can't see them when you pay, they just tell you who you're paying...

Re: Just got my bill and was wondering...
its dependant on the type of account you have....dial up or sacm doesnt offer internet banking only direct debit or debit/credit card...if you did manage to make a payments its unlikely it would be uplaoded automaitcaly onto your account...i do know off the top of my head that its 00000000 for the account number and its a natwest sort code..i may be able to find out on return to work monday
---------- Post added at 22:13 ---------- Previous post was at 22:12 ---------- just a thought...the details would be on the reverse of your bill if its available to you |
Re: Just got my bill and was wondering...
You could of course get a debit card? They're quite useful for getting money from the cashpoint as well...
I don't mean to sound sarcastic/prying, but why don't you have a debit card? They really are quite useful... |

What I have is two current accounts, one for bills with Abbey and my spending money with Nationwide, so to transfer between the two takes 4-5 days if done by e banking or instantaneous if done with cash which for me is better due to the due dates on my bills. |
Re: Just got my bill and was wondering...
is the option on the reverse of your bill? if it is it does give you the sort code and account required?
